Calvin Grimes is an Associate on Makena’s Portfolio Strategy Team, responsible for risk management of multi-asset class portfolios across Makena’s vehicles and hedge fund manager selection. Prior to joining Makena in 2025, he worked at Jordan Park as a Senior Associate on the Investment Strategy team helping oversee $20B in taxable and non-taxable portfolios comprised of public and private assets. He also spent time as a private equity allocator and as a member of the client advisory team. Calvin graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Finance and is a CFA charterholder.
