Jackson Garton is Co-Chief Investment Officer at Makena Capital Management. Jackson was previously Deputy CIO and head of Marketable Investments at Makena. He also serves on the advisory boards of several of our public equity managers. Prior to his M.B.A., Jackson was an associate at Makena supporting asset allocation, following his role as an analyst having joined Makena in 2006. Jackson earned a B.S. degree in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and received the Robichek award for achievement in finance. He is also a member of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust whose members manage a portion of the GSB endowment. Jackson is a CFA Charterholder.
