Mr. Ng served as Group Chief Investment Officer of GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation) from 2007 until 2013. From 1983 to 1987, he was the founding Chairman of the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX), now incorporated into the Singapore Exchange. He has been the founder Chairman of the Wealth Management Institute since 2003. In 2013, the CFA Institute conferred on him the Thomas L. Hansberger Award for Leadership in the global investment profession. Mr. Ng has been a member of the Strategic Committee of Agency France Tresor since 2001 for which the Government of France conferred on him the award of “La Croix de Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur” in 2004.
Mr. Ng graduated in Physics from the University of Singapore (1970) and in Management as a Sloan Fellow from Stanford University (1980).
