Jackson Garton, a Managing Director, is responsible for portfolio management and manager selection for Makena’s investments in our listed equity asset classes including long-only equity and long/short equity. He is a member of Makena’s Investment Committee and a member of the Risk Management Committee, responsible for asset allocation risk management for the firm. Jackson also serves on the Advisory Board of a number of our public equity managers.
Jackson earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and the winner of the Alexander A. Robichek Award for Outstanding Achievement in Finance. Prior to his MBA, Jackson was an Associate on the Asset Allocation team at Makena Capital Management following his role as an Analyst supporting the CIO and liquid asset class teams. Jackson holds a BS degree in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
